Thespian Troupe #2267
​
Our Troupe was awarded Gold status for the 2016-2017 Season. Our club has a membership of 80 members. 35 of of our Members are inducted Thespians.
​
Did you know?
You can join theatre club ANY time of the year?
ANYONE can join, even if you have never been apart of a production!
​
Thespian Inductions are held in October of every calendar Year.
In 2016 we brought "Next to Normal" to the Pennsylvania State Thespian Conference!
​
Over 10 of our Thespians have been awarded scholarship awards through their participation in Theatre Club activities!
Travel With Us!
​
Each April Theatre club travels to Broadway! We love to take in new shows and traditional. Some years we have had thee opportunity to take master classes with professionals in the industry and have private back stage tours!
​
The picture above is from 2015 when we traveled to Orlando, FL. While visiting Mickey we were able to take a Mary Poppins master class, build professional relationships, visit alumni working in the parks and bond as a troupe!
​
Each year we work on finding new opportunities. In 2017 we traveled to The Fulton Theatre to watch staff member and HHTD Alum Sara Gallo perform professionally in "A Christmas Story: The Musical".
Community Outreach
​
As a club and a department we host several events throughout the calendar year to support our community and broaden each performers access to performance.
​
The picture from above is from our Annual Haunted house! With generous support from the Hatboro YMCA, we host a Haunted house event. In the morning we run a kid friendly event and a haunted attraction in the evening. This events helps our club and gives back to families in our community that otherwise could not afford Y membership.
​
Every May our Cabaret features solo performances and in past years we have donated to the SPCA, Broadway Cares, Relay for Life and many others!
​
For the past 5 years we have also fielded a Relay for Life team!
